Year 4 Residential Day 1

14th March 2016
We had a great day on Day 1 of our visit to Dunfield House. It was full on and active, with a local walk in which we were lucky enough to see a sheep give birth right in front of us and lots of amazing views and beautiful sights. On the way back we experimented with den building too.

Today the children did loads of physical activities - football, climbing frames, playing in the stream, exploring and just running around a lot.

We had a fantastic meal and then after a calm bit of diary writing about the day, we headed back down to the campfire, ate toasted marshmallows and told stories and sang songs.

What fun!

Tomorrow we're going on to the Elan Valley istelf to learn all about the dams there.
